History

Inspired by Late Reverend (Dr.) A. Oyedeji to start a new society group with members that do not belong to any of the existing societies in the church, and compelled by the Spirit of God, Deaconess M. Akingbade initiated the process of gathering a group of women together. Not knowing what name the group should have, she sought spiritual guidance from Lady Evangelist R. Oyedeji who through the inspiration of God, gave the name Love Excel (Ifeloju) Christian Society. In 1992, the group was established to the Glory of God with 12 members. The Society’s first matron was Late Deaconess Abigail Dokun and its first patron is Pastor A.A. Browne, who continues to provide spiritual guidance to the group. The current matron is Deaconess Idowu Famodimu.

Objective

The members of Love Excel Christian Society believe that with God all things are possible and see ourselves as official representative of Christ Apostolic Church, First In the Americas.  With full cooperation of members based on the spirit of Love and Unity, we work together towards the progress of our Church, help each other physically and spiritually and propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
