CAC First in the Americans Evangelical group started at Baba Dokun’s house in Rosedale around 1999/2000 under the leadership of Pastor Adeoye and Pastor Dada. The members that started along with Elder Rufus Dokun, Pastor Femi Adeoye and Pastor Dada were Dr. Iyanda, Evangelist Michael Okusanya, Evangelist Segun Ilori, Deaconess Ojugbele, Deaconess Temidara, Deaconess Bisi Ilori, Deaconess Moji Okusanya and Sister Felicia Akemu.

In the beginning, we were only having prayer sessions and meetings asking for God’s leading and direction into the type of evangelism to embark on. After Baba Dokun moved out of New York, we moved our meetings to Dr. Iyanda’s house until Daddy Church (Pastor Dr. Oyedeji) directed us to be having the meetings at Deaconess Temidara’s house where couple of members joined us. I believe Pastor Dare and Deaconess Adebogun joined us at this time. We eventually moved the meetings to the Church Annex where more members joined. Evangelist Adeyeye, Pastor Adeyinka, Pastor Kuye, Deaconess Ajakaiye, Deaconess Biola Otusile, Evangelist Awosogba, Deacon Obadina, Deacon Owoseni, Brother Kunle Doregos and some from our Youth Ministry joined at this time.  During one of our meetings at the annex, Pastor Dare invited some Ministers to enlighten us about the different evangelical ministries such as Prison, Hospital/Nursing Homes etc. We decided on Outreach Evangelism as a starter. Since then, under the leadership of Baba, Evangelist Adeyeye which began after Pastor Dada left, we have evangelized in so many busy places, subways, bus stations, markets, amusement parks and beaches in Brooklyn, Queens, Far Rockaway and New Jersey.
