The Young Ladies Christian Association of CAC First in the Americas, was formed in 1984. It is the oldest Society in the Church, apart from the Choir and was the brain child of Mrs. Margaret Olorunda, Late Mrs. Ajoke Oke and (now) Pastor Bridget Adeoye.  The first meeting took place at American Black Social Worker’s Day Care Center on Bedford at Lafayette Street in Brooklyn. In attendance at the first meeting were Ms. Margaret Olorunda, Late Mrs. Ajoke Oke, Pastor Bridget Adeoye, Mrs. Sola Orimogunje, Mrs. Kehinde Ayanfodun, Mrs. Romoke Taiwo Oseni, Late Mrs Bose Ajifowoboje, Mrs Bosede Aregbesola, Mrs. Tinu Dansalami, Mrs. Remi Raji, Ms. Moyo Onadipe and Mrs. Layo Odusanwo. Mrs. Caroline Ojekunle and Mrs. Olugbolagun joined subsequent meetings. The name Young Ladies Christian Association was chosen because at that time all the members were in their 20s.

Mission Statement: The propagation of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as laid down by Apostle Ayodele Babalola, founder of CAC Worldwide.

Motto: “In togetherness we are one”

Vision: To promote the progress of the Church, unity and understanding.

Purpose: To contribute to the Church, the supply of necessities within the capability of the Society and to assist members in need.

Goals and Objectives: To live Christ-like lives, to abide by all the tenets of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, to be our Sister’s keeper, care for one another, pray for one another, and love one another as commanded by our Lord and Savior and to be involved in charitable works in the community.

Over the years many more members have joined the Society.  Many have relocated and some have been called home to glory but the Society has remained a driving force in CAC first in the Americas. Young Ladies are known for excellence. Whether it be in celebrating our anniversaries, our Mother’s Day outings, or in our outreach programs; the Lord has been glorified. Over the years, we have had several outreaches. We had “Dinner with Christ” which was a Family forum with teachings, workshops, Drama, Couples Dance and Dinner in June 2010. In 2012 we had another outreach which focused on our total being and involved teachings on how to manage our finances properly as well as Drama and fellowship. On October 27th, 2018 we had a pre Anniversary Revival with the theme “Love in action”. The Society has also supported The Smile Train which is an organization that provides free surgery for children born with cleft palates.

We have also had many challenges, but each time, we have come together in one accord in fasting and prayer and God has answered our prayers and turned the things that were impossible with man into possibilities. Our mouths are filled with uncountable testimonies as we have witnessed miraculous healings and provisions in our midst. Today, Young Ladies are in their 50’s and 60’s but remain beautiful and elegant and continue to serve in all ministries in CAC First in the Americas. Together with our Patron Evangelist John Adeyeye and our Matron Lady Evangelist Matilda Awe, we look forward to the return of our soon and coming King!
